De Veranderkamer certifies professional coaches. Each assessment took an experienced reviewer 3 hours — watching video, scoring against multiple criteria, writing the report.
As demand grew, this became the bottleneck. No way to scale without giving up the quality of the judgement.
The approach

Mapped the review process — what's genuinely human judgement, and what's repeatable evaluation against criteria?

Custom web app on Next.js + Supabase. Video upload, AI transcription, and assessment per criterion using Claude/Gemini.

Human-in-the-loop checkpoint: the reviewer checks the AI output, adjusts where needed, and signs off. AI does the heavy work, the human stays in control.
The result
Review time dropped from 3 hours to an average of 7 minutes per coach — about 26× faster.
Around 430 hours freed up each year for more strategic work.
Quality of judgement stayed the same (or improved — less fatigue-driven noise).
